Fees and Scholarships
FeesLessons are based on an hourly rate of $45.00/hour. The cost for a 30 minute lesson for a 10 week term is $225.00 plus an annual registration fee of $25.00 per family. If you start in the middle of the term you are only billed for the lessons that you take once you start. New students will also be billed for a beginner’s pack which includes all of the supplies they will need for their particular instrument including the Suzuki book and CD, rosin and other supplies. The cost for the beginners pack is $30-$35 depending on which instrument you choose. ScholarshipsScholarships are available! The CCSA is committed to providing affordable music instruction to all families in the Copper Country regardless of their financial situation. Be sure to include your scholarship application with your registration form! A number of scholarships may be available each year, depending on the level of our external funding. Scholarships are based on financial need as well as student's participation and progress; special consideration will also be given to families with more than one child in our program. Scholarships may be given to adult students if our scholarship funds permit. Students receiving scholarship assistance must attend all lessons and group class for which they are registered. Excessive absences may result in the termination of a student’s scholarship award and will negatively affect consideration for future scholarships. Students receiving scholarships who miss more than two lessons during a single term without contacting their instructor in advance will lose their scholarship award. Unless previous arrangements have been made, scholarship awards will be canceled if tuition balance is not paid by the due date for the term in which it was awarded. The Scholarship Application is available as a .pdf file. Content last updated: 7/6/2009 |
